We currently have this set of double gates and single gate made of Cypress Wood (Cypress is known for it’s weather stability and it’s old distressed looking characteristics) that were taken off of a beautiful home in Big Canyon Newport Beach due to very minor and non-structural crack lines in the center panels.  They were originally built and installed and professionally stained (Dark Brown) and sealed in October 2011.  Unlike our normal 1-3/4 thick gates these gates are made of triple laminated wood, making the perimeter a full 2-1/4 thickness.
